Questions, requests, and complaints may be sent to info@firebrandrevivalists.com.
2. Scope
This policy applies to this website. It does not apply to third-party services that operate under their own policies, including the giving platforms listed on our Partner page. When you follow a link to one of those services, their privacy practices govern.
This site is directed to visitors in the United States. We do not target our services to individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.
3. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Your name and email address
- Your church, ministry, or organization, if you choose to give it
- Your stated reason for contacting us
- The content of your message
- Whether you asked that your message be handled confidentially
A message may contain sensitive details — including health, family, or financial circumstances — because you chose to include them. We ask that you send only what is necessary. Information relating to physical or mental health is also governed by our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages requested, and date and time. This is used for security, spam prevention, troubleshooting, and understanding general site usage.
This site does not use analytics software, advertising technology, social media trackers, or third-party fonts. We do not build visitor profiles.
4. How we use information
- To read and respond to your message
- To pray for needs you ask us to carry
- To evaluate partnership, referral, and placement inquiries
- To acknowledge and receipt gifts, and to maintain donor records
- To maintain records appropriate to a church and its ministries
- To operate, secure, and improve this website
- To comply with law, and to establish or defend legal claims
5. What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise disclose contact information to unrelated organizations. We do not use the content of prayer requests or personal correspondence in public teaching, publications, or fundraising material without permission.
6. Confidentiality of requests for prayer and counsel
Messages are read by ministry leadership. Requests for prayer may be shared with the intercession team unless you ask that your message be limited to leadership. Members of the intercession team serving in a sustained capacity are subject to written confidentiality expectations.
This website is not a secure channel. Please do not transmit medical records, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive records through it.
7. When we disclose information
We disclose personal information only as follows:
- Service providers. Vendors that operate this website and deliver messages to us — currently our website host and form processor, and our email provider. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Professional advisors. Attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers, where reasonably necessary.
- Legal requirements. Where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person, to prevent harm, or to protect our rights.
- Successors. In connection with a merger, consolidation, or transfer of ministry assets, subject to this policy.
8. How long we keep information
- General correspondence: up to twenty-four months from your last contact, then deleted.
- Prayer requests: retained only as long as needed to serve the request, and not longer than twenty-four months.
- Giving and donor records: retained as required for tax, accounting, and audit purposes, generally seven years.
- Server logs: retained by our host on its standard schedule, generally no more than thirty days.
We may retain information longer where necessary to comply with law or to establish or defend a legal claim.
9. Security
This site is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to submissions is limited to leadership and to team members with a specific reason to see them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a security incident affecting personal information occurs, we will provide notice as required by applicable law, including the North Carolina Identity Theft Protection Act and the Washington data breach notification statute.
10. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold information about you, and provide a copy
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete information we hold about you
- Stop contacting you
Send your request to info@firebrandrevivalists.com. We will respond within forty-five days. If we need additional time, we will tell you why and how long we expect to take. We will not deny you service or treat you differently for exercising these rights.
If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response and asking for reconsideration. We will respond to an appeal within forty-five days and, if we again decline, explain why.
Washington residents
Washington has not enacted a comprehensive consumer privacy statute. Information relating to your physical or mental health is governed by the Washington My Health My Data Act, and your rights under that law — including the right to withdraw consent and the right to have such data deleted — are described in our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
North Carolina residents
North Carolina has not enacted a comprehensive consumer privacy statute. The rights described above are offered to all visitors as a matter of practice.
11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because this site does not track visitors across other websites and does not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We will honor such signals if that ever changes.
12. Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. If you believe a child has submitted information, write to us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
